Off-Site Volunteer Opportunities

At Ranch Hands Rescue, we offer diverse opportunities for you to make a meaningful impact right from your home or within your local community. Our off-site volunteer roles include engaging in dynamic fundraising programs, where your creativity and networking skills can shine through in organizing fundraising events and soliciting donations. If you have a flair for writing and research, our Grant Management team needs your expertise in identifying grant opportunities, crafting proposals, and overseeing their administration.

As an Ambassador for Ranch Hands Rescue, you will represent our organization at public events and speak about our mission, requiring strong communication skills and a deep passion for our cause. Additionally, for those savvy with social media, our Social Media Manager role offers the chance to spread our message and engage with our community online. Administrative tasks also play a crucial role, where your organizational skills can support our mission through activities like managing donation routes and auction item logistics.

On-Site Volunteer Opportunities

For those who prefer a hands-on approach, our on-site volunteering options at the Animal Sanctuary are immensely rewarding. As an Animal Caregiver or Facility Manager at the sanctuary, you will directly contribute to the well-being of our animals, requiring a combination of experience in animal care and a willingness to learn. Our on-site Administrative roles are crucial in ensuring smooth operations, involving tasks like database management, filing, and mail communication.

Volunteer Requirements and Training

We at Ranch Hands Rescue are committed to ensuring a safe and professional environment. All our volunteers undergo a criminal background check, with additional fingerprinting required for on-site volunteers. Training is an integral part of our volunteer experience. Depending on your role, you may receive online orientation and training covering our mission, fundraising tools, and community engagement strategies, or in-person training for specialized roles like animal care and crisis response at the Safe House.
